In the event that you are not receiving notifications when your Smart Box takes a video, try checking your notification settings.
There are two types of notification settings that need to be configured in order to receive video notifications: OS (operating system) level settings & in-app settings.
OS Level Settings
At the OS level, you want to make sure that:
- Notifications are enabled on your phone
- Notifications are enabled for the HomeValet app
There are also notification settings in the HomeValet app that determine what type of events you receive notifications for.
To receive video notifications, your 'Security' setting must be set to at least the 'Normal' level.
